Welcome

Harrogate Saltire Scottish Country Dance Club is open to everyone interested in Scottish country dancing, whatever their level of ability. Its aim is to promote the enjoyment of Scottish Country Dancing to as many people as possible and we welcome new people, young and old, who want to come along and give it a try.

If you are new to Scottish Country dancing, please contact us to let us know you plan to come. The teacher can then tailor the evening to suit new dancers.  It is easier to accommodate new dancers at the beginning of term but we welcome beginners at any time.

We meet on a Wednesday evening from 7.45 pm to 10.00 pm at St. Wilfrids Church Hall, Duchy Road, Harrogate. HG1 2EY. Club nights are an informal affair where the aim is to learn to dance and to improve on technique but at the same time to have fun! There is a lively social side to the Club. At each weekly club night we have a break for refreshment and plenty of opportunity to socialise.

There is no fee for the first evening you attend. After the first evening classes cost £3 each or you can become a member of the club and pay by term £35 .
